Forged welded 2 halves of mild steel
with carbon steel (1045) for the edge.
Some hammer marks left for
character. Differentially heat treated
for use. Entire piece Lightly aged.
O.A.L of head 7 1/2 in. Blade width 2
9/16 in. Spike length 3 1/2 in. from
center of eye. Traditional file work on
leading edge of blade. Haft handmade
from walnut and flame hardened. Oil
and beeswax finish. Length 19 1/4 in.
Rawhide strip wrapping secured by
brass tacks. Shipping Included to
Conus.

32oz ball pein hammer. It is sort of a
cross between a tomahawk,a
halbred and a boarding axe.
Differentially heat treated.
O.A.L. of head 8 7/8 in.
Blade width across 4 in.
spike 4 5/16 in. from center of eye
Haft is handmade from red oak
length is 23 1/2 in.
Lightly aged patina on head.
